SOUTH SHORE ADVENTURE 

Saturday, March 2, 2024

Travel along the south coast of Iceland, as far as Vik, a charming village surrounded by beautiful bird cliffs. 

Visit the majestic Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can walk right behind the misty cascade.

Continue your journey to Skógafoss, starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls walk over to Þórsmörk. This most picturesque of all waterfalls is something of a film star, having been used as a backdrop in films such as Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Finally stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach - one of the most spectular beaches in Iceland.

Caving in Iceland is a dark, strange and unique experience. 

Visit the lava tunnel Raufarhólshellir located only 30 minutes from Reykjavík and witness the inner workings of a volcanic eruption while you walk in the path of a lava that flowed thousands of years ago. The lava tunnel is one of the biggest in Iceland and gets up to 30 metres wide and 10 metres high.

Post-Summit Day Tour D- FULLY BOOKED

One Day Sightseeing (9 hours)

GOLDEN CIRCLE & SNOWMOBILE

Thursday, March 7, 2024

A short drive from Reykjavik, visit Thingvellir National Park, site of the ancient Viking parliament and the best-known place to see the tectonic plates.
Experience the stunning natural scenery on the way to the spectacular Geysir area, and Gullfoss waterfall.

Finally, head up to the Icelandic highlands for an accelerating snowmobile ride on Iceland's second-largest glacier, Langjökull. Shooting across this ice desert on a powerful snowmobile is an experience like nothing else and a trip for the senses.

Reservations for all tours will only be accepted until February 1, 2024. Thereafter, upon request only.

Note: For all tours, remember to dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear. There is a possibility to rent outdoor gear.

 

In order to operate dedicated ‘GPS’ tours, we will need a minimum participation of 25 participants per tour. Should we have less than 25 participants, we hope to offer alternative tours with similar itineraries at

competitive rates but not as a private tour. 

Tour pick-ups will be from outside the Harpa Centre - bus stop #5

For cancellations up to 45 days prior to the summit (January 15, 2024): full refund less bank fees. Thereafter no refunds.
